Cardiac Arrest

This is a condition where the heart stops pumping blood, often resulting from the heart beating exceedingly quickly or slowly.  Specialized testing can be required to determine the cause of arrhythmia to suggest further treatment to prevent it from happening again or abort and arrest if it happens in the future which includes pacemaker placement for slow heart rhythms and ablation or implantable cardioverter defibrillator placement for fast heart rhythms.
