Heads Up Tilt Table Testing
This is a study often used to determine the cause of dizziness or syncope. The patient is placed upright, while secured to a table to prevent falling and then is observed with constant blood pressure and heart rhythm monitoring to help characterize the cause of their symptoms.
Preparation for procedure:

Do not eat or drink anything after midnight, other small sips of water with your medications, prior to the procedure unless instructed by your doctor.

Depending on your other medical conditions you will often be discharged the same day as the procedure.
